It was a red letter day in the history of India when the country got her freedom on August 15, 1947. It took hundreds of years for us to break shackles of slavery. People of the country celebrate this memorable day every year with great pomp and show celebrating our heroes and freedom fighters that sacrificed their lives for the nation, to bring us the freedom, peace, and joy. The main Programme is celebrated at the Red Fort in New Delhi. Besides this, great event is celebrated in every city and town, in school, college and university.
Thanking God for our Nation and with a prayer in our hearts for our Motherland India every community in the Province celebrated the 75th Independence Day (‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotshav’ to commemorate its freedom) on 15th August in a grand manner with the entire educating community. Students perform March Past, Drill, Pyramid, Kung Fu, Patriotic song and dance, Drama about freedom fighters, speeches, sharing of ones thought as citizens of India and so on……
