  The solemn feast of Mary Help of Christians was marked with a festal celebration of the First and the Final Profession.

“Anchored on the Word Journeying together to Proclaim” was the theme chosen by our six novices. The solemn Holy Mass was celebrated by Rev.Fr. Januarius Sangma sdb, the Provincial of Guwahati Province. He congratulated the Novices to be professed and encouraged them always to be anchored on the Word proclaiming Christ to the people. “On this special day in the presence of Rev. Sr. Lucy Rose Ozhukayil the Provincial, our Six Novices, Sr. Joy Sharmista, Sr. Phibakordor Kharkongor, Sr. Auxilia Lakashiang, Sr. Maria Jasmine T., Sr. Biji Rajan, Sr. Salome Sangma, said their first ‘Yes’ to God. And she welcomed them to be part of our religious family of the Institute of the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians and presented them the Crucifix and the Constitution of the institute.
